Default Blade on Ryobi band saw

I had a Ryobi 4023L which recently packed it in. I was pleased that Bunnings simply swapped it over under warranty. However, the blades that came with both machines were impossible to tension properly to stop them bending during a cut. Even setting the guides over and over was a waste of time. I got about 1 straight cut out of 10. I had been warned about this from a guy who uses only Ryobi. So I went to Peacock Saws at West End in Brisbane and for $16 they made me a 10mm blade for cutting pen blanks. The difference has been amazing. Every cut is now straight. If you are having the same problem try getting a blade made to meet your needs.

The blade as supplied on any band saw is rubbish, always buy a good quality blade from a reputable supplier, any of those that sharpen saw blades sell them as well.

There's only one company who supplies my saw blades and my bandsaw parts . They never fail to provide top quality blades.
