blade size
hi,just trying to gather information. What size blade can the hammer bandsaw take up to and how deep a cut can it take. Thanks

Thanks for the replys. Is it accurate enough to be able to cut veneers in our hard australian timbers at its maximum height with only a 20mm blade? I think the carbatec SBW4300 will take a 25mm blade. Thanks

The Hammer N4400 seems to cope OK, Mick. Single phase feeding's a bit slower than a three phase, but quite acceptable.
Maximum depth of cut from memory is 11" or 11 1/2" or so, i.e. not quite 12"
Blade size 3980mm, but the 3925 will also fit, I'd imagine.

edit:" re-read Alex's specs -> except for blade length, they're spot on. Maximum recommended blade width is 19mm.
