    Default BP-16a Versus BP-355

Having read that a lot of forumites have and are happy with there H&F BP-16a I decided this was a good starter for me.
I got out the catalogue and noticed on the same page the BP-355a for $100 less and cant see a lot of difference?
I cant actually get to the store to compare them so any comments would be appreciated.

    Hi.

I think the biggest difference is in the wheel size. Guessing that BP-355a reflects the mm size of the wheels, 355mm is about 14 inches, the BP16a is 16 inches. The bigger the saw, the larger pieces you will be able to cut.

Also the BP16a has Euro guides, which I think is meant to be better

The 16A has a larger throat capacity and also is a little heavier which may indicate a more solid machine perhaps?
When I checked them out at H&B the 16A appeared to be a more robust machine
