    The blades arrived last night and are installed. Very happy with the result. Lined up the fence with the mitre slot and then using the ruler, lined up the table to the ruler. I used the bearing inserts and they seem to be working well.
    Absolutely no drift at all. Also, the blade will now track to the centre of the wheel. Don't know how I achieved that other than to assume that by disassembling and reinstalling the wheels something has been corrected.

    Have you rounded the back of the bandsaw blade?

    No, I haven't. I've done a bit of a search and see that there is quite a divide on the subject.
    I've had this bandsaw for about 5 years and this is my first new blade. I'm leaning towards the if it ain't broke don't fix it mode right now.
    Do you do this and why? Do you find it helpful?
