Calling all JET JWBS-16X 16" Bandsaw users
Hello
I'm considering one the the Jet 16x band saws and am looking for advice re it's quality and suitability.
I'm wanting a small'ish band saw, that's very rigid and of high quality in build. I'll do some profiling work (and it can use a 3mm blade) and will do some resawing. I don't have a drum sander, so I want the best finish possible. Assuming I go and buy a few good blades and work on my skills, should the bandsaw do the job?
Are you happy with the quality, noise, vibration, rigidity and accessories?
I know the 16" model is missing a few nice features (like the quick release), but the Jet 14" model soon to be released has alloy wheels and a very tall reach ... which concerns me re rigidity on what will be a relatively light machine.
Any advice welcome!
