    Default Carba-Tec BAS 350 Bandsaw Manual

    Greetings All,

    A few years agao when I was living in Tamworth my shed was flooded by about 6" of water and I had forgotten that the manual for my bandsaw was stored in the machine's storage cupboard which was filled with water.

    Found a very stiff and unreadable lump of paper the other day when I went to change the perished lower wheel tyre. Had no luck separating the pages and am in need of a copy of the instruction manual. I asked Carba-Tec (Sydney) when I ordered the new tyres but they didn't have a copy on hand.

    I saw that someone had a similar request about five years ago on this forum, so hopefully a soft copy is floating around somewhere.

    G'day FV if you go to the Grizzly site (below) you should/maybe find the bandsaw which is the same as yours and can then download the manual.

    Stompa,

    Thanks for your tip. Looked through the Grizzly web-site and whilst the bandsaws were similar, the thrust bearing on my machine is set up 90 degrees out with the back of the blade running on the rim and not the face of the bearing.

    However, there is enough info to hopefully get it all up and running true.
