I've had about nine bandsaws over thirty years using them full time every day and they have never been "co-planer". In fact I think the concept is a contradiction in terms since we are always useing the tilt of the top wheel to control where the blade rides and the drift. Luckily I've never confused myself by reading any of the books or watching the videos. It used to take me about a month to get a new bandsaw running smoothly and when they are right they should run almost silent.
Redshirt you might try useing a metal file to clean up the weld on your blade then run it through the guides slowly and see if it is catching. Other than that you might need new rubbers on the wheels. But first try a different blade. Hope this helps.
