Dewalt D100 bandsaw - where does this part go
Dewalt D100 bandsaw - where does this part go
Anybody got ideas how the part shown in the attached picture fits onto this bandsaw? (at least I think it belongs to the saw)

Looks like a fence for ripping, turn it up the other way and clamp it to the slot to the left of the blade

Looks like the fence to me. It should run front to back with the orange knob facing you. It should slide side to side in a groove along the front edge and lock when you tighten the knob.…..Live a Quiet Life & Work with your Hands

Thanks for all your input. I figured it out in the end. I had removed the bracket to which this part is attached in order to change the blade and promptly forgot about the bracket. Remembered once i looked at a parts diagram off the DeWalt website (saw has been discontinued, but they still had a parts diagram)
