Well I got a couple of new tyres for the saw the other day and have been putting off fitting them after reading how difficult they can be to fit. I really don't know what the fuss is about, it only took about half an hour and it was all done.
So once the tyres were on I put the cleaned up saw blade that came with it on, tuned it all up and did a test cut with a bit of river gum. The result was excellent no complaints at all. Certainly no problems with the supposed stuffed motor (yeehaa).
So a quick talley of costs:
    Purchase of saw $114.50
    New guide bearings $ 36.00
    New tyres $ 53.00
    New table pin $ 3.80
    Sundries $ 5.00

    Total outlay $ 212.30

The only other cost will be a new bi-metal blade from Henry Bros. somewhere in the near future.

Good one, I've changed tyres on my 18" jet & it was easy.

By my calculation you're a bit over $2200 in front on this one and that is an absolute shed load of new blades once again an absolutely superb score.
I don't suffer from stress, but I have been told I'm a carrier
