    Can you fix a band saw blade with regular solder and a soldering iron.

    I use an earlier version of this kit and have silver soldered hundreds of blades for myself and others.

    I buy my blade in 100' rolls and cut to length then join with this kit.

    Learning to do this was one of the best woodworking skills I ever learnt.

    Never stuck with a broken blade and no spares.

    So where do you buy the 100' roll from?
    I'm curious as somehow I thought saw doctors directly imported their sawblade rolls from overseas manufacturers.

    McMaster-Carr ( McMaster-Carr ) sells large rolls of blades, and IIRC, they ship worldwide.

    Cutting and brazing or SS'ing bandsaw blades can enable interior cuts, without need for access cut through the exterior.
