    Default Gummy Roller Guides

Does anybody have suggestions for preventing resin (from seasoned timber, partic maritime pine) sticking to roller bearing blade guides and the sides of the blade on a bandsaw? I have a reasonably large bandsaw and have tried wax, silicon spray and silverglide but the bearings seem to compact resinous sawdust onto the bade and while the cutting still proceeds ok, the vibration and noise it creates is not pleasant and is probably not too good for the machine.

    Default gummy rollers

I have had the same problem with some pine and took some cleaning and I have also read in the forum that if you put diesel on the blade and rollers it reduces build up but only a smear.Hopes this helps
