One can purchase lots of different wheel configurations and sizes. Get 4 rotating and lockable wheels. I think that this is what I have. In reality, the 4400 is heavy and, with unlocked wheels, will not move without a lot of effort anyway.

Someone here made what looks to be the best base I've seen for a bandsaw.
It was similar to the Carl Homgren style, but made from steel.
I might have even seen two versions, one possibly on a Carbatec bandsaw, I think that one was hand levered,
Not sure if I imagined the second or not, was it a yellow machine?

I made these, great at the time, now a PITA compared to the tablesaw or bench.
The wheels in this orientation wastes some space, and annoying to get at to move,
possibly a non issue with a compact 4400 machine which wouldn't need so much space.
Aswell as that, takes more effort to lift, and doesn't like to go beyond it's threshold, as you need make sure the caster is swung
away from the machine, as to not bottom out and still rest on the casters,
causing issue with levelling and damage.
When bottomed out, should you wish to lift again either requires giving the old casters "a break" and helping out with the
chore of lifting the machine single wheeledly,
and getting the next caster in action, which is faff.
and I have used a wee wrecking bar for getting the thing unstuck a few times.

Once you have used a single lever design, you won't like anything else.
Much easier, well for my tablesaw it is.

Would love to see a version for the bandsaw with a foot lever, as it's nice to be able to have your hands free.

I've found this one by BobL, from this thread...Gunna check out some bandsaws etc today

That's what I found so far, and looking through Bob's posts now, just incase others like myself might be interested.
Hope BobL doesn't mind me posting it, I'd love to see another piccy or two of it,
as it just may be very suitable for my Scandi bench, and not only a bandsaw.

Here's another post or two from BobL, I'm finding linking a bit difficult
    19" BS upgrade

so there is a few images, but nothing which gives the full picture.

Thanks folks. I just whacked a basic timbecon jobby on there for now. I have uneven floors and I wanted an instant. When I get the next Hammer machine, I’ll probably upgrade to the proper kit where I can use the lift bar on multiple machines
