Who was harvey bandsaws
Looking at getting a new bandsaw...tossing around between the laguna bx 18 or the Harvey 15...just wondering who harvey bandsaws were sold as in the past...and any feedback on the coating of the table on the harvey 15

Have you a dealer somewhere close, seems to me an unusual toss up between a 15" and an 18" machine.
Get the biggest wheels you can would be my motto.
Guessing its this new detensioning switch that must be on both, has everyone swayed?
I just use a stick against the blade for that, but I have quite a big table on mine.
I can't say I'd ever want a titanium nitride coating on anything like that, but I presume that is optional.
If your not in a basement or have a very low ceiling...
Ya'know, up to a compact 20" machine will still have the same footprint, something around 200kg should be sufficient for an inch blade, say if you want to use a 3/4" comfortably, and likely no more difficult to move due to the span making leverage easier.
