    Default help with tensioning delta 50-274 14" bandsaw

    Hi all,

    I bought a used delta 50-274 14" bandsaw a few years ago and have never been able to figure out how to tension the blade nor find a manual for it. Anyone familiar with this machine? or can direct me to a forum where I might find help?

    Do a search for a book titled “Getting the most out of your band saw” on the Internet.
    This book was published by the Delta machinery company through the 1940s, 50s and 60s to inform Delta bandsaw users how to set up their bandsaws and also explain lots of techniques for doing different cutting jobs on the bandsaw.
    (You may also get books which have the words “& Scroll saw” appended to the title - it is a fatter book as it covers both bandsaws and scroll saws.
