You didn't use glue on rubber tires? It didn't work on me.

If you have already watched Mr Snodgrass's video, fast forward to 2.30.
There he says to glue rubber tyres.
Very informative video. All I need is a bandsaw

I watched that video for several times, it is very informative. But I'm wondering how does Alex set up wider blades on saw.

That makes sense. Wider blade on a 14" band saw is critical. Most manufacturers say that 14" saw can take 3/4" blade . The fact is you are limited to 1/2" blade / 0.25" thickness.

    Default Rubber tyres

    Hi
I found a supplier of rubber tyres. I'm having mine done there
They charged me $40 for each and that including stripping the old rubber off as well and bonding the new on
will report the out come next week. I have no connection with the company

Got my wheels for the band saw, The wheels was running out by about 1.5mm, so they needed truing and crowning, after that exercise I ended up with a run out of 0.1mm and that I'm happy with, saw is running very quit , is able to cut veneer about 0.6mm thick with a with of 100mm from a grey gum log, so end result is I have got a band saw that is very stable and don't blow away in the wind, as the frame and table is made from cast iron
