Info on old bandsaw
Hi everyone,
A few years ago, I was the lucky recipient of this old Bandsaw.
I'm wondering if anyone may recognise the maker and perhaps give me an indication of it's age?
There is a makers plaque that reads "A.A Tyson, engineers, Melbourne"
The band size is 3500mm, which while a non standard size, is easy enough to get made up. There are cast iron wheels and baseplate, with brass rubbing blocks.
It seems to cut quite well, handling all the panel and branchwood I've thrown at it so far.
