Default Laguna On/Off Switch on he Back

Today I was in Beyond Tools in Malaga looking at bandsaws and I noticed on the two Laguna models they had the On/Off switch was on the back side. Initially I thought I was at the back of the machine/s but no I was at the in-feed/front of the machine/s. Every other brand a bandsaw they had the switches were on the front. Are all Lagunas like this? Surely they have it wrong? There must be safety issues?
