Lubricating a bandsaw
I posted this on another part of this forum and got no response. I hope it works better here.

I have a Hafco BS-4 metal cutting horizontal/vertical bandsaw, but unfortunately no manual. Its time I gave it a bit of lubrication. Can anyone advise where I should lubricate it and with what ?
thanks

Arron,
saw your previous post but I'm not familiar with the machine so didn't reply. I'm assuming it's one of those metal cutting bandsaws where the stock is held in a vice and the saw pivots down and throught the stock as it cuts it. Probably like most machines nowadays all the bearings are sealed. If so, servicing is probably restricted to brushing and blowing out all the swarf and filings and lubricating the pivots and the vise screw and slides with a bit of oil or grease.
