Thread: My new Meber saw

Thanks guys for all of the encouraging words.
I got the saw tuned up and working today. To say I am very pleased with it is an understatement.
The new tyres are fitted and crowned, and all of the guides are finished.
I dismantled the saw down to individual parts, which made it just movable for myself on my own. Having the saw down to components, I thoroughly cleaned an oiled/greased all bits and pieces before assembly. I fitted a new DOL starter, and I got some decent bi-metal blades made up.
I am intending to buy a new bush for the bottom wheel tomorrow, as the existing brush is too soft IMO. Next thing is to get it connected to dust extraction, but that will have to wait. I need to move some machines around to accomodate the new panel saw, and ducting will obviously change as well.
What are the Kipp levers worth Greg? The little thumb screws are a bit annoying.
