MJ343B Bandsaw Help
I have just purchased my first bandsaw a MJ343B. I set it up OK but the blade guides are woeful. I want to add some new guides and need some help.
I have searched the forum and found a reference to someone who posted with the same model and same problem.
The guides on this machine are attached by a couple of silly self tapping screws into the extruded aluminium height adjustment bar. There is not a column to attach after market guides to. The post I found on the forum was quite old and the relpies did not answer the question.
Has anyone been succesful in attaching new guides to this model machine, if so can you post how you did it.
I have setup the bandsaw so that it cuts pretty square, tried to setup for the drift but the blade still wanders all over the place. The bottom guides are just a couple of 6mm rods up against the blade.
Can someone please also advise me if there is an issue with blade quality or are they all much of a muchness.
