Might have the new toys on Thursday, just in time for the Hammer to be in the shed!

Everything went to plan, Hammer N4400 turned up the same time as the mitre fence.

Geez it's real easy to level the mobility kit, snot! I'll try again tomorrow.

Well the toy is operational. Took me a few minutes to level after a good nights sleep. Power on, blade installed and tracking without issue. Cutting various timbers, even to a depth of 295mm. I agree the dust collection is not optimal and I will have to improve it.

The insert went straight in and I even have played with the mitre guage. Thanks Russell!

Just out of curiosity,. the miter gauges look great, Is the t-track slot on the N4400 non standard like the combination machine C3 31? the reason I ask is I don't like the miter gauge marking on the hammer and still enjoy using the incra style of miter gauge where the angles are actually set on the gauge itself and not simply marked on the sliding table. If your miter gauges use a weird slot like my combo machine id be interested in fitting it to my sliding table. Cheers

The slider/t-track part is 15mm wide by 4mm thick on the standard mitre fence.
I can and have made different size sliders, even for panel saws and combos, Attached is a mitre used on a panel saw and it slider

Let me know your t-track width and depth and see if we can come come up with something....

Delbs, I have one of Russell's mitre gauge's, easy to use on the Hammer, with both the 25mm & 50mm height fences.

Pat, Nathan wants to use it on a sliding table saw like mine which is not a silly idea. I have just measured the slot in mine and it is 10.98 by my Chinese verniers.

    Hi
Any other takers for a mitre fence?

The price will be going up with the next batch as the cost of aluminum has gone up.

Have now made a slide/tee nut that makes the mitre fence work on the c3-31 table saw.

    Cheers

Chris, The fence face is 193mm wide.

I use the same mitre for all.. can make different slide or tee nuts...You need 100mm from blade to centre of the slot as a minimum. But can be used for wider distance as the fence can be made longer to bring it up close to the blade.
    Hope this helps

The slot on my Hammer slider is 11mm wide, how wide is the slot on the C3? I thought I had posted the dimension earlier in the thread but I can't find it now.
