    Default Pattern Following Pin

Looks like it would be a cheaper version of the frontline jig.

I do have the Frontline jig since last a last year & is there not comparison betwen the Frontline Jig & the jig on the link above.

I know cost much more but is so extremely accurate & every piece time after time exactly the same with very little tolerances les then 0.5mm i do cut all my curve chair rails & legs for the dinning settings i make & never look back is by far best investment, with the frontline jig the cut pieces all they need is a fine sanding. without the use of a spidle moulder or router.

Check it out is a video as well on ther website.

Ive been using this pattern following pin for a few weeks, and have to say it's the best $13 Ive spent this year
Of course it's not going to replace the frontline jig, but its such a simple solution, and its been working a treat.
I have templates already for most of the furniture I make. Its just a case of sticking them on the wood with a bit of double sided tape. Im using a 6mm Olson blade with it.
It's easy to get the cut so its just clear of the template, then just a light sand... and that's on my my crappy 1hp bandsaw Im always winging about
If you're making an order with rockler, its worth just throwing it in for the price
Before I was rough cutting them on the bandsaw, then finishing up on the router table, with template. I much prefer my new method.

I've been thinking about a frontline jig but I don't use the bandsaw much these days so the rockler jig will do for a while at least.

The do-dad that Rockler is flogging has been around for several years in various forms - Lee Valley has had one on their site for as long as I have known about them, and just about every bandsaw book I've seen published in the USA mentions them for template work.
