    Angry Ram 14" bandsaw Tire

I think I have a problem with the tire on my Bandsaw , I hear a clicking when the saw is running I open the door and I notice when I am looking at the top wheel when running the tire is about 1/2" away from the left side of the wheel is that normal and does anyone think
that is what is making the clicking noise I noticed that when I changed the blade today and started it up, it is an old saw it does track very nice
any help would be appreciated Thank You very much
    it is a Ram

Weld on the new blade might have a bit of spatter on it or the weld isn't straight. So the weld is touching a guide or something as it goes around the wheels/guides.
Try and spin the new blade on the wheels and listen for the noise to see if you can find out what it is that is causing the noise/tick.

New blade might be slightly smaller than old blade and making it track on a different part of the wheel.

I don't think the tyre should lift of the metal wheel. Althoug my old machine the tyre was so perished it was fully de-bonded from the wheel and I still used it for ages.
Is this a new machine (under warranty??) or a secondhand machine.
If new seek advice from the company you bought it from.
If secondhand, you might be good to use some glue for the wheel to tyre. A good adhesive, similar to the glue used to glue shoe soles on - rubber type glue.
Gently lift the loose tyre and slide in the glue.

How did the noise issue go. Did you find out the problem?

The rubber tyre definitely should not come away from the wheel. Time for a replacement by the sound of it. You might be able to patch it up as Lyle suggests, but ultimately it needs replacing.

tire lifting is a sign that the tire is past it's use by date, the clicking sounds like a the join going past the guides, check the join for any rough spots and clean off .

also it could be the blade moving on the wheel and hitting the rub bearing at the back, but this is unlikely.

    Default band saw noise

I would put a piece of tape on the saw blade where welded, and on both wheel rims. when You turn it on.\, you can tell instantly where the noise is coming from. If it comes at the same time as the blade reaches a certain point, it is the blade See where the mark is located at the noise, and You will probably find it at the place the saw blade passed at the sound. If it is the tire, Then You can check the most likely spot. You can use the same thing when checking the pulleys and the belt. It helped Me a few times
