Riser Block on a 14"
I have a Toolmac 14". It has had its little hassels along the way but I have been able to iron them out and its working quite well cutting bowel blanks from half logs and box sides from really hard Euc firewood
I have some poplar slabs that are now dry enough to thin down for a job I have in mind. I would need to rip about 10" (250mm) high so a riser will need to be added to make this happen.
Question to those in the know..... will the 14" be capable of doing the job well enough with a 6"" riser? OR.... am I about to open a can of worms by over extending the capabilities of this lower end machine?
The poplar is 65mm thick at the moment and I want to say 20- 22mm thick slabsJust do it!
Kind regards Rod
