    Default Thrust bearing guides

    Hi there everyone,
Need to get some non-toy like heavy duty (like I saw on a Meber SR 900) blade guides /thrust bearings for my Wadkin Bursgreen C-9.
It currently has a pissy little set up that looks totally inadequate for a large blade although when I bought it 2nd hand it had a 9.5 mm blade , which the 40-50mm dia standard bearings would probably have managed.
The " height of cut adjustment " shaft that the whole set up bolts to is 35mm dia which is the same as the SR 900. Rang Ron Mack in perth they said from Italy and $5-600 each and I need the bottom guide as well!!
Looking at American co. Carter Bandsaw guides on net.
    Any suggestions or Australian sources??

Whatever your solution, make sure you get dust proof bearings otherwise they will quickly fill with dust and seize.

You can get the euro style guides from Felder NSW. I got the 600 size top and bottom set from them in 07 and from memory they had the larger ones as well.

At the time they were about $100 cheaper that I could find else where.
