Default Wanted. Blade tension adjust for 14" b/saw

    G'day,

The blade tension/wheel adjust on what was my Grandad's bandsaw - now my BIL's has given up the ghost due to fatigue and I'm on the look out for a replacement part for him.

He's tried the usual suspects and has one on order, but that was months ago and the chances of them coming through are Buckley's, so I said I'd try on here for him.

Bandsaw as you can see is the old generic 14" copy from Taiwan, this one is badged Universal. So if you have a spare part, or have an old b/saw sitting in the corner that you can canabalise for me let me know and how much you want for it.
I make things, I just take a long time.

I got one of those from Hare & Forbes about 6 months ago. About $60 for a new improved version. The saw works better than with the original part.
    Regards

    Hi
google Gary Pye Woodturning to find his website. Once you are there on the website, then look under Bandsaws in the menu list on the Left Hand side of the screen.
This takes you to a screen that shows a link to "14" bandsaw parts".
A new upper wheel slide assembly is AUS $22 + postage (not too much as long as you live in Australia)
    Cheers
