The micro switch interrupts the power to the motor once the door arrives. Would you please
show how to start the cycle again ?
Thank you,
Regards,

apple8,
I have been experimenting. Using a general purpose relay, wiring its NO output to the motor, found that by wiring a momentary push switch to the +, pushing it starts the door movement, releases the micro switch blade. That in turn disconnects the motor once the door arrives. This seems to work well.
Do you see a possible problem ?
Thank you,
Regards,
Gus
Hold down the momentary switch until it starts moving and the micro switch operates. That circuit only works for one cycle each time the button is pressed. If you want multiple cycles swap the momentary action button for an on/off switch, with the switch on it will keep cycling until turned off and then finish the cycle when the door closes.
