Default utube to TV via DVD??

    Greetings,

I have saved a number of Utube video's in MP4 format.

Now I want to burn some of these files to a DVD to share with friends without a computer.

I have copied files in MP4 to a USB memory stick, which play on my TV.

I have tried MP4 on DVD, no go message on screen wrong format.

    What is the correct format??

    Cheers Barry

Correct format for DVD players* is:
Compression - H.262/MPEG-2 Part 2, format for Australia is PAL 720x576, 4:2:0 Chroma, 8 bits per colour, 5:4 aspect ratio, 25 frames per second and up to 9.8 Mbps data rate.

DVDFlick - http://www.dvdflick.net/ - is free software that'll automatically convert many common formats to the appropriate standard for DVD as well as helping you author the disc.

For maximum compatibility, you'll also need to use a DVD-R disc, not a DVD+R or DVD-RW or DVD+RW.

*That's a "I'm a box that connects to your TV and I just play DVDs and possibly CDs and I'm not at all a computer" DVD player, not an XBOX or PlayStation or media centre or other fancy thing.
