Setting up an iPhone 4s through bluetooth
Wife has the above phone and has just downloaded Google maps.
We have tthe phone itself running through bluetooth BUT have not
been able to get the maps to go through bluetooth. We need this
so that the volume can be adjusted to enable us to hear the damned thing.
Many thanks, artme.

Are you able to use apple maps. I have heard plenty bag it but personally have found it to be very good. Just not sure if it runs on the older phone.
I have an iPhone 5

If your stereo has either a 3.5mm MP3 jack or a usb input you should be able to hook your phone up through either of these instead of bluetooth

Since we already have the iPhone I see no point in spending money on another bloody phone.!!
The iPhone is compatible with the iPad. No matter what your views are on the relative merits of
Apple v Microsoft v Android v Whatever I couldn't give a tinker's cuss!! I am disappointed, for
the very first time ever, in the type of responses so far given.
Thank you Dave. We will look into your suggestions.

artme, Not sure if this fits but I drive a 3 year old Subaru and had all sorts of troubles with a 4s and the Bluetooth from day 1. The only solution to connect to a subaru bluetooth is a 5. That allows phone call connectivity but still I can not down load my phone book.
If you drive a subaru this might be of some comfort, if not then sorry I wasted your time.
