HAFCO BPP 355 bandsaw
I have had this bandsaw a little over a year now. I have replaced the original blade with three new blades, one ¾ inch tungsten carbide tipped re-saw blade, a Lennox Trimaster, and two standard high carbon blades in narrower widths. The Trimaster is an excellent blade; the others have not been used.
I have used this machine to saw veneers for restoration of antique furniture and, with a previous blade, to re-saw some larger timbers. I now find myself looking for a larger re-saw capacity (at much larger expenditure) so am parting with this good workhorse machine.
The saw has a shop-made high fence for veneer cutting and re-saw and an H&F mobility kit fitted.
New price for this current model machine is $1,023.00 and the blades cost over $150. The mobility kit was $93.50. So, all-up, new, over $1250. In as-new condition.
I have had to replace the original plastic zero-clearance insert with a piece of aluminium as the plastic disintegrated.Hafco bandsaw oblique sml.jpgHAFCO BP355 plate sml.jpg
