6 mm thick piece of 260 Carbide Brass
As I am now turning my attention away from tools I am clearing out the following. I have a three pieces of 6 mm thick piece of 260 Carbide Brass, great for cold forging, like infill planes with dovetail sides or other tool making projects. Below is a schematic of the dimensions.
George White Charges $1320 for a 6 mm X 900 X 1800 a whole sheet (wholesale price) 5 years ago. For a piece at 238408 mm square mm square George White would charge $167. I would be happy with $100.
MATHS
If the sheet was a perfect rectangle it would be 325 mm x 695 mm = 225875 mm square
Minus 65 x 40 = 2600 mm square for the small piece missing from one corner
Minus 334 x 65 = 21710 mm square for the rectangular piece missing from the other corner
2600 mm square plus 21710 mm square = 24310 mm square
225875 mm square minus 24310 mm square makes the area of the sheet in mm == 201565 mm square
But wait their is more: I have two pieces at 69 x 197 mm (13593 mm square) & 155 x 150 mm (23250 mm square) making the total for all three pieces: 238408 mm square.
I prefer to avoid paypal for the fees it imposes, PM me and I will give you the bank details. Postage could be arranged but pick up would be cheaper from Coburg in Melbourne since the sheet weights over 5kgs.
