    Default small backward curve fans

I have 2/3 small backward curve centrifugal fans to sell

    240v single phase
I also have a three phase I think?

having a backward curve impeller they can deliver an airflow against a high static head..ie a length of small dia duct/tube of say >50mm and should be suitable for smaller type charcoal foundry etc
Basically they can sit on a square enclosed box with a pipe leading to furnace

These are non overloading ie they will not burnout even if airflow on discharge tube was closed

I also have a couple of larger ones about 8inch dia

$1.00 each...can arrange postage at buyers expense

no buyers or takers then in the bin they go

Do you think one would make a good blower for a forge?
If so I would like one.

I am keeping one for myself for a gas bottle sized furnace. These small ones will deliver more air than a hair dryer and at a much higher static. They can also be used with a speed controller..ie correctly rated dimmer

so a big one can always be slowed down if if too big...but if its too small its too small!!

how big is your forge Bob?

Sounds like it could be good.
Here is the WIP to my forge

I'm using an 1800W vacuum cleaner with some variable speed capability as a blower but I hate the noise it makes.

I'll put my hand up for 1 small and 1 bigger one (240V) if you will allow pickup early October when we will be in Adelaide.
