Woodturner's large forged spindle gouge, Henry Taylor
Forged spindle gouges are among the best kept secrets of woodturners.
This tool will allow you to rough out spindles and also cut long flowing curves.
It is 32mm wide and 7mm thick. The bevel is 45 degrees. Henry Taylor HSS is among the best steel there is.
There is some minor corrosion but that has been polished out at the flute tip.
The price of $89 includes registered postage within Oz.
(I see the forum has gone to ebay style; not quite across it sorry).Cheers, Ern
