Hi just wanted to let you know that I bought a brand new mini lathe from Carbatec about 6 years ago and its sill going strong and now ued as a second lathe but the were and stll are only about $280 brand new. They are not variable speed but it has lasted and is still going strong. My point is they are good value and worth thinking about.
