Thread: Carbatec 14" Bandsaw SBW-3501HC

For sale is my 14" Carbatec bandsaw that I have had since June 2013. I bought it off the original purchaser who never used it. He claimed that he had never used it, and just put it in his shed. Whilst there is paint blemishes and scrapes, the condition is consistent with it having never been used - the belt is brand new in appearance!

Recently I broke the 1/2" blade and am having difficulty puting the 3/8" blade on it, so I thought that it was timely to upgrade to what I want. I would like to do some resawing and need a different bandsaw.

It comes with a 3/8" and 1/4" blade, which have never been used and are both rusty (I received it this way ), but should clean up well.

Since I have owned it, I have 'played' with it for about 3 hours - literally, that is it, and I can show you the three (3) spoon blanks that I have made.

The price is $300, and any trial is welcome (provided you can put the blade on). Pick up is from Tyabb, on the Mornington Peninsula and cash on pick up is preferred.
