Default Cheap Hardwood - Yellowwood Ash?

I'm told this is Yellow wood Ash. It was milled in the MacPherson range (Canungra) a number of years ago. It has been stored outside under iron for some years and hence looks a littleshabby on the outside. The timber is in good condition once dressed. The timberis a yellow cream, hard to the touch and greasy like Tallow wood or Crows Ash.It dresses a lot easier than most timbers of this density. I have been toldthat it is Yellow wood Ash but can’t vouch for it. You’ll have to be the judge. The single piece I dressed has a lot of grey mixed in with the yellow as shownin the photos. Sectional size is 140 x 22 and there are 17 lengths at 2.5m + acouple of additional boards the same length at 140 x 45. There is also one wideboard (350 w) but it is shorter and has surface cracks on one side. It could beripped into thin boards as well. I think it would be great for a work bench surfaceor similar. Hopefully someone can put it to use. It’s probably a bit of a puntand priced accordingly. Looking for $60 the lot. This isn’t an auction. Justsay I’ll take it and it’s yours. Pick up from Ascot in Brisbane.

    Default Price reduction

I need to move this stuff. Price reduction to $50 the lot. It looksscrappy but the boards are nice and straight and apart from a few boards havingend grain splits the timber is solid and in good condition. Would make a topworkbench as it is good dense hardwood.
