Wanted - Someone to make a chopping board
Gday all,
I have just moved to Melbourne and had to sell all my woodworking gear and now the wife wants a chopping board made.
Wondering if someone would be willing to make one for some $$ (negotiable)???

Hi Krico,
Not sure where you are, but maybe you could find a Woodies Club ( But most are near breakup time for this year ) & the same goes for The Mens Shed.
Look under " Council of Woodwork Clubs " & " Mens Shed Assoc. of Aust.".
Don't take this the wrong way, but it is easier, to give your area, rather than just Melb. & then you can get the proper help you need.Regards,

You could check out the weekend craft markets particularly the one at Flemington Racecourse. I have not been there for some time but am pretty certain there was someone selling wood products including cutting boards.

There is a stall at the Wednesday night Suzuki Markets (Queen Vic markets at night) that sells chopping boards (among other things).

Red Hill market or Emu Plains market at Balnarring. Both on the Mornington Peninsula and good value for individual chopping boards.

There is always a guy at warrandyte market selling them, all my flatwork machinery is in storage at the moment
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

Thanks for the replies. I'll search for where these places are and try and get around to them. Lucky I have the Navman I think.
I'll have to Google them and see where they all are. I am living in the south-east suburbs.

Chopping boards
Hi,
I have a quite a few chopping boards I made for a craft market stall I do, what size, materials are you wanting, mine are are varied in jarrah etc, I have a few unique styles as I am a designer so I design and make. Post a description of what you are after I am sure I can look after you dollars wise as well.
