Mate, just a couple of questions mainly regarding the saws capacity. How wide a board can it cut? How high a board will it cut? Also date of manufacture.
    Just do it!

    Kind regards Rod

Looks interesting as it does not have the slide bars behind the base plate as most compound slide saws do.

Does it come with any sort of clamps to hold material down, or support to hold long material flat?

As chambezio asked, what are its cutting capacities?

It cuts 70-75mm high up against the 'fence' and width about 250mm at full stretch pulling the handle towards you.
My father bought it new in the mid to late 90's. Elu became dewalt in 1994 (I think) so it would have been manufactured sometime before that ?

Handyjack, I don't have any other accessories for it.

Thanks for the info Sam. I have an ELU TGS172. Its a drop sawas well as being able to convert to a bench saw. Very handy for house fix outs where you have a lot of docking plus ripping pieces down to fit in places. Its a 250 blade that allows 90mm under the blade but for wide architraves and skirtings a slide compound gives you that little bit extra in cutting width. If your Compound Saw is as good as the TGS172 it would be a great saw.
    Just do it!

    Kind regards Rod
