Golding Lathe & Accessories.
I have FOR SALE a Geelong made, Golding Wood Lathe & Stand, Golding Chuck, 6 HSS Woodturning Chisels. I'm sorry, but there are no Photos. I am asking $325 ONO. It will be PICK UP in Geelong VIC. If unfamiliar with this Lathe, It consists of 2 x 2in bed bars, Speeds up to 2850. 1 HP. Motor. In Fair condition, but has done a fair deal of work, but Buyer will have no trouble with it. This is a Good Buy for a Newbie.

issatree.

Is it one of these ?
Hello Issatree,
Am mildly interested - a model number would be good that would at least let people search the web for photos and specs.
Sorry but I simply do not know what a golding lathe looks like.
Can we see the same lathe in one of these pictures ?

Overall dimensions would also be useful - to see if it fits in back of 4wd - and get an idea of what size lumps of wood I can use.

Golding Lathe & Accessories.
Hi Bill, This lathe was made in Geelong in the '90's. The Bed is made of Twin 2in. Sq. Tube. I personally had 2 of these Lathes, & made 100's of pieces. So,the 1st Photo Top Left Hand Corner of the Orange Lathe is what you wood be looking at. They are 3ft. between centres. 1 Horse motor, 4 Speed. The one for Sale is the next Model Up & is Blue. There is next to no difference between them. There is also a Photo of the Golding Chuck, down a bit on the Photos on the Left Hand Side. I never knew of any Model No's. If you need to know more, just ask.
Regards,
issatree.
