Default HD side scraper for woodturners

This is a HD side scraper, shop-made. Ideal for longish overhangs in or tight undercuts on semi-enclosed hollow forms.

The steel is McJing, 38mm at the widest x 10mm thick. Total tool length is 50 cm.

The handle is Gidgee; it has the heft to counter balance the weight of the shaft.

You sharpen this tool by honing the face with a diamond hone or ceramic whetstone. You can also raise a burr with a diamond hone on the bevel of the circular part of the tool.

Postage (additional) within Aus will be about $14.
