Thread: HNT GORDON A55 Smoothing plane - She Oak

HNT Gordon A55 Smoothing Plane (Tool Steel blade) in She Oak.

BUY IT NOW $275 (or bid, of course).

I purchased this about 18 months ago (some sacrifices have to be made in pursuit of a thicky/jointer which is more urgent than this).

It's not quite as orange as it appears in the pics (dunno why, but every time I photograph She Oak it's always a bit more orange).

New price from HNT is $350 (+$20 on list price for the specialty She Oak timber).

You can see some marks on the sole. They are more like stains - seemed to come from some resinous wood, and left its mark.


Marks at the heel, and marks at the toe (sorry about the OOF - musta had the camera too close, or wrong mode)
