Huon pine
Approx .6 of a cubic metre (minimum). The majority are slabs...1500x650x55, 1500x500x55, 1300x500x100, 1000x600x50. There are 7 slabs in total. In addition there are 100x100's up to 1300 in length plus various other sizes. This huon pine was hand-selected on site in Tasmania, and includes some bird's eye. Has been air-dried under cover in excess of 15 years. Photos are available upon request.
Also for sale is Australian White Beech, Queensland Red Cedar, New Guinea Rosewood, New Guinea Wau Beech and New Guinea Kwila...in excess of a cubic metre available for all these species. The majority of the timber was originally purchased for the construction and fitting out of a large sailing vessel.
If any questions or requests do not hesitate to contact me.
Pick up from the Hinterland of the Gold Coast.
Cheers
Alan

Re: Xanthorrhoeas
Hi David,
Prices will depend on how much you may be interested in! I am negotiable, within reason. If you are genuine and reasonable, then I will be also. I am particularly interested in moving cubic metre lots...a little bit here, a few boards there, a slab or two here...it just gets too messy! I will however negotiate on reasonable amounts. You have the price of the huon pine, $2000 for the lot, .6 of a metre. The Queensland White Beech, I will be advertising shortly for $3500 a cubic metre. The Red Cedar, of which there is dark red, $2500 a cube...and a lighter colour, $2000 a cube (a combination of the two is negotiable).
A snapshot of sizes only:
Queensland Red Cedar....320x75x3600, 250x50x2600, 200x75x1200 (many of these), 100x100x3000, 300x40x2600. Many boards from 100x25 to 300x25 in lengths from 2400 to 3500. In addition there are a variety of other sizes and numerous smaller hobby pieces.
Queensland White Beech......200x70x3700, 250x70x5400, 300x70x1700 (approx 10 of these of various lengths). A number of 25mm boards of same width and lengths. Some other sizes.
David, if you are interested send me your phone number and I will send you through photos. I will take them with my phone. I cannot upload photos to my computer at the moment as my camera needs fixing! My phone number is 0427 349 501, and my email address is [email protected]. For further information you can contact me, if you wish, at either my email address and my phone...or both.
Cheer
Alan
ps I have some long slabs of Red Cedar, White Cedar and Silky Oak for sale also.
