NSW moving sale
sat - sun 10.00am -4pm
12 preston Way berowra 0414593860 Neil
Massive amounts of timber, equiopment and who knows what else.
I am motivated to sell and will agree to realistic prices, but be assured you will get a bargain.
I have a big driveway so no issues with lots of cars being there at one, bring your trailer as well.

I'm guessing the asnwer is yes
My mate and I went up on Saturday and purchased some niceturning timber as well as a few other odds and sods. I'm guessing there'll be plenty left. Neil has a timber collection to be envied.
He was fun to deal with and prices were very reasonable.
Cheers,
Peter

Thanks for the kind words pete. You did get some bargains.
The bandsaw has now gone. The big box of burls has gone back to maitland. About 10 slabs also went.
There is still plenty left. I will be at home all weekend, but will be recovering from getting my tonsils out. Happy to have people around, but may not be much use assisting in lifting. Heaps of silky oak, slabs, planks and 50x50 mm lengths.
Neil

I don't have any particular timber that I want. 1.2m should be enough as i am making a box with internal dimensions of 260x120x120 but I need to also put in a low rest to hold an item. Would you have anything large that could be used as a top and bottom with a 15-20mm overhang all around? if you don't have anything that would work I will just go to bunnings and get some pine as I need to get some other stuff like hinges and some ply for a friend to do some scroll work.

Hi Neil
Do you have any stuff 150+mm wide by 25mm quarter sawn? Can be short lengths, this is for saw handles. Could be thicker I guess. could be rift sawn as well.
Thanks
Peter

Peter
there re is a lot of stuff up here that would probably do you, some fairly different timbers. I will try and photograph and attach. I just keep finding more s tuff as we dig through. Some of the timbers I have lost track of what they so there is a bit of pot luck
i actually don't know the difference between quarter sawn and rift sawn

how much are you wanting for some of it and do you have any that could be used as a top? If not I will get the top and bottom from bunnings.
Do you still have any of the huon pine as i might be intereted in some of that for a clock face that I making at school. Could you please send me the prices for the wood so we can then make a time to meet.
Cheers WC
