I have a D7100, it's a high end camera that can be used for sports photography, it's favoured by serious amateur hobbyists. I bought mine for product photography and have never looked for another, even in low lighting you can tweak it to take fantastic shots. The only thing I don't like about it is recording a movie as it has no auto focus and unless you use a tripod to record and focus in manually your pretty much up the creek, other than that it really is a good camera. You can't go wrong with this price, a fully professional high end camera body without a lens will cost you $20,000 you won't find that in Harvey Norman. If your serious about photographing your work without blowing your budget and with what's being offered here your getting a good deal.

I have to agree with the above post, I also have the D7100, and it's just a brilliant piece of kit that for a complete novice like myself delivers exceptional pics. I'm quite surprised this hasn't been jumped on yet, especially as the 300mm lens (which I'm after myself) is around $300 or so on it's own.

That's what you would call a "slight oversell". Don't even know what bearing that statement has on the Nikon D7100.

I think he means medium format cameras who almost nobody uses, even professionally speaking. It does however still have no bearing on a D7100 which is a good crop sensor camera, but like comparing a Nissan pulsar to a Nissan gtx in cost and target audience.
