Default A piece of European Walnut not heavily grained - light coloured

    I'm after a piece of European Walnut, about 10 mm x 100 mm x 100 mm.

A light colour with little grain, probably class 1.......... boring looking.

    Thanks

Thanks for the link Timless. I've been googling for days trying to find some info in Oz.

    His site never came up.

    Default Trade secret

Trade secret among custom rifle stock makers!
Nice guy also, makes it even better.
I think Roger probably collared all the Walnut in Oz a generation ago... and pretty much has the monopoly on the stuff.
There's a island off Victoria somewhere covered in US Black Walnut trees - I think the nuts all go to Cadbury in Tassie for chocolate making from memory.
Did a little "consulting" for someone entering the Walnut Industry some years back when establishing a research Walnut plantation here in WA's southwest.
Surprising the things you find out - that come in hand many years later!. Trouble is I've forgotten more than I know these days.

    Cheers
