Plunge saw and rail.
Hi there.
I'm after a decent plunge saw and rail. If you're thinking of selling yours, please leave a post.

Sorry! For wood ideally.
I'm in Coffs Harbour NSW. I was thinking postage would be an option if the seller was willing.
I was looking at the Makita Plunge saw for around $700 and the Metabo for around $550 but I'd ideally prefer a good deal on a sound condition, second hand piece if one reared it's head.

A forumite mate of mine, Gawdelpus John, passed away recently and has a few that will be for sale soon. Some drop saws, some sliding compound mitre saws, but all will be less than $500. I won't be back at his place for a few weeks though. If you don't have any luck here keep your eye on this Market Place as they will be advertised there. I'm also heading your way in Sep so might be able to drop them off.

I'd be interested in knowing what he had. A sad reason for splitting with the tools though.
I plan to build a simple table, which is where the plunge saw was going to hit the ground running. I hope to start it in a few weeks, so if you were willing to post, maybe something could be arranged if the tools right for me.
