Have been looking around for a while on gum/bay with no success so thought I'd try here. Can travel to pickup.
Many Thanks

I have this one listed on gumtree: Teknatool 1624-44 Nova Woodturning Lathe | Power Tools | Gumtree Australia Belconnen Area - Spence | 1053147879
It is $1200 for a forum member. It is in Canberra for pick up, but I can put on a pallet for transport. It can turn long stuff because it has an optional bed extension on it, and also you can turn big bowls and platters because it has an outrigger, and the head swivels. I can provide more info/photos if needed.

Looks like it will do what I want, so guess approx another $500ish for travel & chisels then. Would like to find something a little cheaper and closer but will definitely keep it in mind.

Yep, it would help with offers if you specified your budget. As I said, I can pack it up on a pallet, and the shipping company can take it to Newcastle for around $200. (did a quote for Newcastle for simplicity).

Ask seller the model number, and year it was made - then try to find specs. Looks pretty old.
