Silver Ash
A rare piece of Silver Ash - doesn't often come in this size. A very pale timber would be good for chessboard, chess pieces, turning, carving, boxes.
Pick up only. Not an auction. $70
100 x 100 x 1.16m

Curious about those dark spots/lines - is it spalting, real texture or just surface water damage?

Ilya,
good question, but I'm afraid it's not spalting. I have another piece in a similar condition, and I just took to it with a sander and the stain disappeared - see photo.
It's just surface marking. Chris
