Default Rip fence for mate's 10 inch table saw

Does anybody have a spare rip fence for a mate's 10 inch table saw? It is the standard Tiawanese tablesaw that everybody puts their own badge on. It has a hollow steel tube running along the front of the machine, that the rip fence should attach to. I should've measured it while I was there, but I guess the outside diameter of the steel tube is approx. 30-35mm. Happy to pay cash or swap for some Australian Red Cedar, NG Rosewood or some Huon Pine. I'm at Zillmere in Brisbane, and happy to collect from Sunny Coast to Byron Coast (will hit the beach in the same trip!) Thank you.

Is any of the original fence still intact? My dodgy fence had broken the rear bit of casting and wouldn't lock down. I tried several fixes and the latest has been to pull the innards out of the front piece and use a bolt to apply clamp pressure to the front rail which seems to be working OK, but I haven't done a lot of cuts against it yet. I tried this last approach after looking at building a T-style fence as described elsewhere on here. It occurred to me that clamping of the original front casting should work much the same as the homebrew t-style fence system.

I'd still be interested in fabricating a new fence if I could find suitable cheap steel in small lengths, but I don't weld which is a problem.

    Default Rip Fence

Thanks for your response, Fuzzie. No, he bought the second hand tablesaw cheaply and it had no fence with it. But, another Forum member has since contacted me - He upgraded to an incra rip fence has so we will see if his old fence fits the front rail on my mate's tablesaw, otherwise he might have to weld one up.
