Macquarie Sawmill (3 phase electric)

$5000 negotiable ... buyer to transport (I have local contacts)

NOTE: this is NOT a portable mill and is designed for commercial operation

2 circular saw blades will cut 300mm x 150mm x 10m in a single pass

All 3 phase motors ... about 60HP on power head alone (pictured)

all powered (3 phase) adjustments and drive


Was operating for 20years at a mill in Jarrahdale

Bought 6 months ago at auction thinking I could use bits to build a portable mill but realised that it was more valuable as it is.

It was still operating when the mill shut down late last year. It is now disassemble down near Bunbury (WA).
For transport it was cut down to 6m in length, this can be simply welded back together (over 10m in length) or used as a 6 metre mill.

The power head could be converted to small diesel/petrol motor (blades driven by belts ... see pic) but would still require some 3 phase electricity to operate adjustments and drive.

Too big for my needs and would prefer to put the $ into a small portable mill.

Would consider trade for portable mill

I could assist in the mechanical reassembly of the mill but the buyer would need an electrician to do all the wiring.
